Why did you join WIIS?: We’ve made the decision to relaunch WIIS at McGill, aiming to enhance students’ understanding of international security and empower women by providing them with a space within this field.

Why did you join WIIS?:  I joined WIIS because I sought to surround myself with a community of passionate and likeminded women seeking, as I was, to advance their professional and interpersonal skills in the field. And I’ve never looked back!

Why did you join WIIS?: You’ve heard of women in STEM, but the probability that you’ve heard of WIIS is low! I want to change that and welcome my peers into a field that hasn’t always been so welcoming towards women.
